Frequently Asked Questions

Not here.
Pain is a signal—not something to ignore or push through. Our job is to understand why it’s happening and address the root cause. Training hard is important. But training smart—without unnecessary pain—is what leads to long-term progress.
-
No—this is a cash-based clinic.
This allows for one-on-one, individualized care without the limitations of insurance, including longer sessions, no required referrals, and a focus on what you need—not what insurance dictates. As part of the Fit Lab community, we keep our rates accessible and provide high-value, performance-driven care.

My focus is on what delivers the most consistent, long-term results: movement, manual therapy, and strength. This includes joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and individualized exercise programming.
I do not offer services like dry needling or instrument-assisted treatments. If those are appropriate for you, I’m happy to connect you with trusted providers.
-
No. Physical therapists have direct access, meaning you can begin care without a physician referral. I will guide you through a thorough intake process to understand your medical history and ensure physical therapy is appropriate for you. If needed, I will refer you to the right provider.
-
In most cases—yes. My goal is to keep you training, not shut you down. Together we will modify movements, adjust volume or intensity, and help you train around pain safely while we address the underlying issue.
-
Traditional clinics often separate rehab from training.
At Foundations PT, I integrate the two. Because my location is in Fit Lab Studios, I can assess and treat you in the same environment you train in—using real movements and real equipment.
-
Sessions are typically 50–60 minutes, one-on-one with your physical therapist.
No aides. No double-booking. Just focused, individualized care.
-
It depends on your goals, injury, and how your body responds.
Some clients need just a few sessions to get back on track, while others benefit from a longer progression. My goal is always to get you results as efficiently as possible—and keep you independent.
-
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move.
If applicable, bring your training shoes and anything relevant to your workouts—we may incorporate them into your session.
-
Yes. While I’m located at Fit Lab Studios and work closely with that community, we help anyone looking to move better, get stronger, and stay active without pain.
